Hi Guys.

I was just wondering if any of you have favourite song by Amy Winehouse? If you do what song would that be and why is it your favourite.

My fave songs by Amy are:

1. Rehab
2. Back To Black
3. Tears Dry on thier own

I picked the first two because I really like them.

Do you agree with my choices, If yes why do you agree and if not why do you disagree with them?

My favourites are:

1 Wake Up Alone
2 Back to Black
3 You Know I'm no good

I just love the lyrics in Wake Up Alone, when I saw her perform this I cried just so emotional.

Back to Black from the opening line, only Amy could start a song that way, such an iconic song and I love the video.

You Know I'm no good just brilliant and honest lyrics.

If I could have a fourth it would be F*** My Pumps again brilliant lyrically and just so Amy.

My favorites are:

2. Love is a Losing Game
3. Tears Dry on Their Own

It's so hard to pick just 3 because she had so many amazing songs even though her career was so short. I just love the emotion in the first 2, they're so moving. The third one just sounds great and I love the lyrics. And of course, she sounds absolutely perfect on all of them.

I always had these phases with her songs, I would overplay one after another and my favourites really changed all the time.
But I guess;

1. Some Unholy War - especially live versions
2. In My Bed
3. Tears Dry On Their Own

I also really really love Long Day, I mention it because it's so underappreciated imo :'-(

Now i only recently heard of her other songs (the ones that weren't so heavily played) and i just can't stop listening to "To know him is to love him". My top 5 is:

2. Will you still love me tomorrow
3. Love is a losing game
4. Hey little rich girl

No. 1 and 2 are out of this world

for covers....I think Moody's Mood for Love because that is one hard song to sing and she just nails it.


Loved 'On the Outside Looking In' cover she added to her concerts this year.

Followed by masterpiece Back to black, and then..
uh, I can't choose, but it probably would be LIALG, YKING, Me and Mr Jones, or You Sent Me Flying. Or Tears Dry. Or the rest of BTB, haha. Depends on the mood.

Valerie is my fave -recorded- cover though. Makes me smile.

Wake up Alone. Always has been and always will be my favorite. It is an absolute masterpiece. I think it sums up the ache she feels for Blake like no other song does.
