I uploaded this short clip of her in a record shop, this gives some indication of her influences.

Ronnie Spector liked the part where she says "I've got hair like them."

Is there any interview where Amy talked about thr music she had on her ipod/phone? Im trying to open myself some more to more diverse music

Amy's influences were diverse, but she basically loved classic, jazz, soul and hip-hop. She also liked ska and reggae. Just off the top of my head, she liked:

Dinah Washington
Sarah Vaughan
Ella Fitzgerald
Tony Bennett
Frank Sinatra
Classic Motown, i.e. The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson etc.
The Specials
Nas
Busta Rhymes
Mos Def
Lauryn Hill
Aretha Franklin
Donny Hathaway
Curtis Mayfield
Elvis Presley

She loved 50s and 60s jukebox music.

I think the jazz influence came about at a very early age as a direct result of Mitch's taste(which is mine also). I happen to love Mitch's voice and too always look forward to his music videos. to me, he sounds alot like Bobby Darren.
:'-(She was the DiVinci of my music world!

Sorry if it sounds like a downer to bring this up again but when amy was diagnosed with emphysema was it reported how long she would live? Ive never heard of a person getting emphysema in their early 20s. So far all we know she could have passed from complications of it.

I wish she never went to sleep that day :(

Ultimate stupid question of the day: how did Amy keep her beehive hairpiece on? A lot of pins? I would love to see a video of her doing her hair, I am sure none exists.

All I know is that his name is Chris. Don't think I've ever seen what he looks like or heard much about him. Basically all there is to know about him is in the lyrics from Frank... The one at the Brit Awards was Alex Clare.

His name is Chris Taylor and he's a journalist. For some reason I think it's a black man that she was once pictured in a car with, but I really can't remember if that was a fact or a rumour..
What is your greatest fear?

This one? It says his name is George Roberts, but it also says it was taken in 2006 and I think the picture is definitely older than that...

He still stands in spite of what his Mars bar says.

I think that could be it, although I thought it looked different. Anyway, I don't recall her ever mentioning dating a George, so that could be Chris. Plus the article is clearly rubbish, so what do they know!

I couldn't understand half of the gibberish they wrote, someone got a bit lost writing it.
Yeah, that could be him. His nails are... interesting.

What was the name of Amy's jazz band? I wish she made a jazz compilation album with them to help make them more well known
