anyone know why there are no concerts, performances in 2010? I know she was writing for her new album then but am a bit surprised actually that she was no where except for the couple of clips when she took to the stage briefly when Mitch performed that one venue(she's wearing the animal print dress).
It's not as though she was at her worst then. there were a couple in 2009, 2008.
anyone can answer? thanks in advance and again, sorry to start new thread.

She was definitely away from the stage since V Festival 2009 (August 22nd). On July 6th, 2010 she returned to stage and sang Valerie with Mark Ronson at 100 Club. After this performance, she did:
- Blues Bar (video above)
- Fred Perry Launch
- CityBurlesque (with Mitch)
- Jazz After Dark with brazilian singer (Rodrigo Lampreia)
- Jazz Cafe in Camden (drunk singing Valerie)
- Private gig in Moscow (I uploaded Cupid in YouTube)
great infos! thanks xx

This is one of the ones mentioned above I think. I hadn't seen it though. Not great really - a milder version of what was to happen in Belgrade. Irrelevant now, but I still can't fathom why anyone thought she was well enough to be doing a comeback tour in 2011.
I wonder if these last performances were when she was mixing alcohol and Librium as even in the earlier performances when she was clearly high as a kite and heavily drinking she was still able to put a brilliant show on....might have missed the odd word or two or come in at the wrong time...but not like this. She seemed to have completely "lost" her voice and that captivating spark she once had. I hate to say it but it just makes me think of a drunk person doing karaoke at times . Very sad to watch, especially knowing what the outcome was.

He said: "I think about the good stuff all the time. There is one that stands out.
"We met one Saturday afternoon and went to a Jewish café in Soho with one of her friends.
"We had salt beef bagels — it was last summer. We walked through Soho and we didn't get any aggro.
"We were bouncing around having a laugh.
"We got to a place called The Blues Bar and some bloke, middle-aged, was playing guitar, playing blues.
"It was really cool, There were about 50 people there. Amy just shouted, 'Here, do you want a female vocal with you'? He said yes, and it was brilliant.
"She did a full set with him and his mate. People couldn't believe it. It was one of our best days. She was having the time of her life, talking to the crowd, the guys on stage.
"People went mad. It was a great afternoon. I'll never forget it. A bloke took a video. I'd love to see the footage."

hmmm, I'll have to look for that video I'm referring to.
Eva, I remember when I found that video quite a while back, I winced too. Knowing she was such a genius, it was sad to see her like that. embarrassing, really.
