Amy's current lead in the poll can be very misleading.
Currently, each vote in the poll accounts for approximately 6 basis points.
(100 basis points = 1%). While Amy has a nice lead in the percentage of
votes cast, the total number of votes cast is still very low.
The low vote count leaves us vulnerable to a blitz campaign that is almost certain to be mounted by other Divas' fans near the end of the polling.
Thus, it is important that we accumulate as wide of a lead as possible during the coming weeks.
One vote per day from each computer you use is appropriate. If your static IP-address is preventing you from voting each day, you can also vote from computers at coffee shops, department stores, your workplace, etc.
It is unclear as to exactly why the poll was reopened. Maybe the production company just wanted to keep the fun/drama alive, or maybe they were not happy with the earlier results.
Some of the show's critics were particularly "harsh" about the very nice Amy-tribute segment of the show. Some even suggested that Amy did "not belong in the company" of the other Divas represented in the show. It is reasonable to assume that the production company could be sensitive to the views of such critics AND that the company might be uncomfortable with a poll-win by Amy.
Additionally, a win by Amy could create the need for further expenditures to alter the show; at least to the extent that an Amy segment would have to be added. Such an expense to the company may not be desirable to the investors.
Clearly, the company has the absolute right to conduct THEIR poll in any manner they choose. Contemplating what their hopes, goals and wishes might be is only a heads-up and is not meant as a criticism of the company.
We may not have very many actual friends inside the company. We should proceed as though that is the case.
A win for Amy here will bolster current efforts in the Hollywood Walk of Fame STAR campaign AND future efforts in the Hall of Fame campaign.
Please try to be diligent in helping to maintain Amy's current lead in the poll AND please don't become overconfident about that lead. A blitz campaign can wipe away that lead in a matter of a few hours.
Please vote early and as often as you can.
Thanks for ALL of your help and support in this worthwhile effort!

If your ISP connection has a Static-IP address, you may have trouble voting daily from the same computer.
If your ISP connection has a Dynamic-IP address, you should have no trouble voting daily from the same computer.
Regardless of your IP-addy configuration, you should clear your cache each time BEFORE you vote.

No, she's not on the list. She does have a really great voice though. I think she should be on there aswell.
