Watching this among a few other DVDs today. It is probably one of my alltime favourite performances from her, despite the fact she was so frail and unwell during that time and is clearly on something here, despite the fact she punched someone in the audience and called Kanye a cunt. I thought the song renditions were fantastic, her childish mannerisms were hilarious and, well, the umbrellas in that massive hair... just brilliant. Everytime she straps on the guitar, it seems like the weight is gonna drag her down, but she carries on enthusiastically... Endearingly hilarious. I feel a bit bad calling it anything but sad because she was obviously sick at the time, but I really do like the performance.

"Don't boo... cuz i will find you, I'll find your phone... and I'll ring up your mum and tell her about your bad manners"
"He still stands inspite of what his Mars bar says... and I'll battle til this bitter finale... please, atleast, I'm not opening for a cunt like Kanye"

Just wonderful! :bigsmilie: RIP darling.

He still stands in spite of what his Mars bar says.

Bit about her boobs popping out is funny too, love her, she nearly always tried to joke, even if she wasn't in her prime, health wise x

Love the end of this gig when she gets down off the stage to get close and personal with the audience, not the punching part of course. This is the only concert that I have seen her do that, are there any other shows where she goes down to the audience?

She sort does it here at The Nelson Mandela concert, around the same time as Glastonbury. She runs down to the forefront of the stage and sings, its very sweet.

I was at glastonbury and watched her set that year. I remember it was pretty difficult and uncomfortable to watch at the time. I haven't managed to make myself watch it back since then, may put it aside to revisit this weekend.
