For those who have no clue, it's one of the new series on this season. Follows a bunch of Pan Am flight attendants (then called stewardesses) in the 60's... "The Jet Age".
Lots of great 60's fashion, style and music... they played one song on last night's episode that I am trying to determine, it was definitely a 60's song but the lyrics and voice were so Amy.

I've been watching it here and there, I can never remember when shows come on. I really like it though, probably because I love that time period. Everyone seemed so glamorous. I found the last episode really touching, with Christina Ricci's character chasing down JFK. I loved the bit when she finally caught up with him.
I can't think of the song you mentioned, when was it played and how did it go?

Just watched the third episode, now I know what song you were talking about (scroll down to "featured video", it starts after 32 seconds) :

Since you are in the US, you can watch the whole episode here... it's a minute or two in just as the "subway scene" starts.

It wasn't Danke Schen... it was a real soulful, gritty track. On the ABC site above you can turn on close captioning, and I tried googling those lyrics and didn't find anything. So perhaps it's an original song done in a 60's style... like I said, it was very "Amy".
