But i came across it for the first time yesterday. I cannot believe the guy didn't take up Amy's offer when she basically invited him in to her home!!! Shows how lovely and genuine she was though despite having the media on living on her doorstep, can't think of many other 'celebs' who'd do that. She really was a one of a kind.

The fool probably regretted it as soon as, and even more so now!..., that video did something to me, touched me, she just wanted abit of normal company, even though he was basically a stranger, akid, a fan, such a sweet, sincere girl, so unaffected and natural, God bless her x

It did precisely the same to me too Berny. As you say she just wanted some company, someone to talk to. There is a vulnerability about her in this vid which is sweet yet sad at the same time.

Exactly, she impacted me, and no one impacts me, in world of celeb, not interested in all that shite, I've got 11 years on the girl, she got to me though, she went through so much shit, for such a sweet young talented girl, and just as she was finding love and happiness again... shame the press don't portray this side of her (the real Amy), the funny, kind, time for everyone girl, who didn't let fame go to her head, even though she didn't want it, course there were parts of it she enjoyed, but not being a isolated trapped virtual prisnoner in her home thanks to vulture stalking paps.

I bet that kid was/is gutted, once he walked away, and even more so now, kid must regret it bigtime. x

Don't think we should call him a dumbass. Yes, I would have loved to talk with Amy but maybe he was just really nervous like you would have been, like you also mentioned.
Man. It is was me I would have peed in my pants!
Thought that I would get so nervous that I would say no, but would manage to pull myself together and say yes.

when I watched this a couple years ago, I remember wondering how I would have reacted. I too think it is unfair to call him names. He probably was shy and perhaps he was just trying to be respectful of her privacy.

I've often thought that I would have first asked her if she was too busy, (and hoped like heck she said, 'no') lol would have waltzed right in then but been sure not to have stayed too long.

some people learn boundaries, and some don't. I'd like to think this dear sweet boy knows boundaries. at least he has the pic and the autograph...more than what most of us have.

She was so lonely at that point, poor girl. And hounded by the paps day and night at her home.
