Yep, it's sad that people here in the states don't even know of 'Frank'. Some people still think 'Back to Black' was her only album.

Love this one, she was in her zone & had such control over the band.

Yep, it's the same here in France, even some people who like "Back to Black" don't know about "Frank"... I know that this album was released here only after the success of B2B, but still...I mean, I think I read somewhere she sold over 2 million copies of this record... There aren't that many artists nowadays that have achieved that...

i didn't know the while 'frank' era (some songs, yes, but not the "era" before 'blake', really)

honestly, until her passing - same day
like what? no more songs? oh this can't be!?

when i bought b2b, i fell in love with her voice and songs, and then waited and waited for another release.

i watched her over years on tabloid stories, waiting for her to get better, i never thought she would lose the battle, she seemed determined to do something - just something.

when i started learning about frank, i found a sweet tender jazzy cool hip girl and i fell in love w her all over again.

as for new music, i hear there are 12 new songs are unedited maybe getting finished?? changed?? jeez.... hopefully we will hear them sometime soon?

it's too late now, she's gone and she will have more real fans who will fall in love with b2b and frank and whatever is next

not knowing her in the frank era i guess means she was in another country making a cross over before i heard about her talent. i kept looking forward, so sad it ended up looking in the other direction ......

I listen to Frank more than I listen to B2B and got that one first. Always brings back such fond memories...there is a sense of reminiscence attached to it for me. what she does w/Moody's Mood for Love is incredible and I'm blown away every time.

Her early performances, she had so much energy n was so enthusiastic, so fresh, passionate, I listen to Frank more than B2B, tho B2B is one of the best albums ever. x
