Haha yeah, took me some time, too! I listened to the first three songs and was like: "How long is this show gonna go on before I can listen to Amy's song"

I tuned in to Mark's show tonight and he mentioned that he was in the studio recently working on some of Amy's songs. Here's a loose transcription of what he said on the air:

"I've been in the studio this past week and there's a record that's going to be coming out later this year of some Amy Winehouse stuff. There are some songs that she finished and I'm sure would have wanted to have out. This isn't a sort of 'raid-the-bottom-of-the-barrel and exploit someone' because I definitely wouldn't have any part of it if it was. I can't play it yet. I can only tell you that it's one of my favorite things I've ever worked on."

Thank you for doing that! Wow - rehab is not my fave Amy track but I really like the demo. It has a way better sound than the final version - cleaner and more focus on Amy's voice! Love it!

thanks for the link....although at first, I thought someone had hijacked it and was talking about their 'height'. lol yeah, this is wonderful. I think Ronson would do it best because of his history with her. he would know more of what she would want.

I just thought of something as I listen to 'rehab' demo on Mark's program(had to fast forward thru alot of stuff). I remember last year at this time being so excited in wild anticipation of her new release that was going to be out in January, 2011. very very bittersweet that a new album will be out but posthumously.
even to see those last few words I wrote just somehow shock me. sad, sad.

Theres other stuff rom Frank era, theres got to be stuff from Mark ronson and Saleem, and some the new stuff she's worked on over last few years, anything would be good to hear, sometimes demos are just as good if not better that final product x

That's the best thing i've heard in a long time I'm so hyped right now. This will be great. And saying it's one of his favourite things he ever worked on... Oh dear God... I hope it lives up to expectations.
