Some weeks ago someone logged into Wikipedia and wrote that Island Records could possibly close Lioness Records, because there is no head now, since Amy is dead. Dunno if it's true, but
I think it would be great if they kept Lioness Records.
I'd really love to have the Lioness Logo on future releases of Amy (including Lioness: Hidden Treasures).

yeah your right! they shouldnt close it down! I think they should make someone else the head of this label. MAybe someone close to Amy. it would be nice if they didnt close it down!

Her family should have continued with this instead of doing all the foundation (rehab centre) thing. Amy was all about her music, she considered a very important part of her life and she wanted to help young artists as she did with Dionne and Zalon. They must continue with the record company, discovering new jazz and soul talents influenced by Amy's music. She must be remembered for her huge talent and her amazing music, not for her troubles.

I think they should continue with the record label, but her posthumous album is from Island Records. They would never put the Lioness logo there.

I believe that the Lioness Records should be opened....There's no reason in closing the company! I think Mitch could be the head of the label....Also, I'm the one who have created the Lioness Records page on Facebook!!

Do you know, i haven't thought of this before but yes, they should keep the label. I think in the last year, the label was a real passion of Amy's. It is all about the music and she would love to think that new, credible artists were recording under her label. What will happen to the artists she had signed if it closes?

But they could also put the Lioness Logo beside the Island Records Logo. I think they've also done that with Dionne's new Album.

I agree, I believe Lioness could be the ideal label to find and promote young up and coming jazz/soul influenced artists in Amy's memory - if they find the right person(s) to head it...

Yeah, i agree with Katie and Cecilia. Amy obviously put a lot of effort into creating Lioness records, so it would be a shame to see it just fizzle away, especially when it could help so many potential stars. I hope it can be another lasting legacy she will have on the music world.
