The last time I went to vote I had too many things open on my PC, but that was a good thing because it took awhile for it to change from the Vote page to the Results page. I noticed down in the url thingy place down at the bottom of my browser that the poll address is PollDaddy.com. So, I've also been wondering why the hell these numbers keep going backwards. By searching Google I found out that Polldaddy tracks all incoming votes based on the unique IP address. And if alot of votes are coming from one IP address all at once, a temporary ban is placed on that IP address and all the questionable votes are deleted. So, if this is true, clearing the browser cookies won't be enough, you also have to disconnect and reconnect from the net to let your PC pick a new IP address.
Amy, if you are up there listening, thank you for sharing the incredible soundtracks of your life ...

PollDaddy is not likely deleting over votes in this poll. They ARE issuing a "time out" to the over voters, but there is no evidence that the counts are being adjusted. (The "time out" usually lasts one/two hours; it can be defeated by a shutdown, cleared cache, and an IP-addy reset.)

If PD is deleting over votes, it is then CLEAR that the CR campaign is using a voting service. Amateur fans could not accumulate the number of same-IP sequential votes that are being recorded, if PD was deleting over votes.

The CR campaign claims that they are merely using "dedicated fans." I suspect that to be true.

The CR campaign is simply voting constantly in LARGE blocks.

If Amy's voters would vote in 100-vote blocks, we could get back in the game. 500 workers voting 100-times in rapid succession would solve the problem. We need about 50,000 votes this weekend.

It takes more than 2000 votes to add ONE percentage point to the score.

If you can't join the "I Voted A Hundred Times" club, don't waste your time playing the game. Single votes are meaningless.

When I was reading about the Voting, I also read where some un-honest voters use scripts to hammer the votes in and using software to hide the IP address, I wonder if that's how 'the other guy' is getting so many votes so fast.
