So now lets get on to the MJ matter. I did reply In the early hours of this morning but very strangely, It seems not to be here.

As far as I'm aware no posts have been deleted from this thread, and certainly not by me - I can't see any record of it either. Maybe something went wrong posting it? Have anyone else's posts gone missing recently? Please let us know if they have so we can look into it if it's a forum issue. Anyway, no one has tried to censor you, so if you can repost your missing message that would be nice :)

I have no idea why your posts didn't appear so I can only apologise, but it looks like everything works fine again now as your new posts are showing. Thanks for the heads up about the Sky Arts broadcast, it's the 2007 Eurockéennes concert if anyone was wondering.

I believe that's what you said it was about. Thanks :) I can barely wait the six months for the documentary! But that makes total sense why no releases this year.

What I want to hear Is the duet she did with Snoop dogg, It's a well know fact In the British media that she did record It back In 2007, why did they never put It out? Anyway, the twelve songs locked away are In fact the new or third album....fact. So what about the tenth anniversary album release of BtoB, apparently It's going to be very very special. Now just moving on a little, the soundtrack to the new cinema documentary? Amy Movie, on It's release In 2014, what says It contains something rather special?

Woooow !She recorded song with Snoopy?!!Suprized ...not for good! You have any pictures of them together?

Snoop & Amy, sounds like they never even made it to the recording part ...

Amy Winehouse and rap artist Snoop Dogg apparently got so high on cannabis that they couldn't stop laughing long enough to record a duet. Their initial progress was good, but then the laughing fits kicked in and their work came to a bit of a standstill. The 25-year-old singer's US visa trouble and busy schedule has meant she has been unable to return to America to finish the tracks.

Amy Winehouse smoked so much cannabis while recording a duet with Snoop Dogg she couldn't sing. The 'Rehab' singer and the rapper got together to work on two tracks in Los Angeles last year and, as a source said: "Amy came to the studio buzzing with ideas and the pair got on really well, even though Snoop turned up in his dressing gown with slippers on, which had Amy giggling.

"They were working at a frenetic pace at first but as the day wore on and more smoke breaks took place, the work rate slackened.

"By the time their studio time ended they had a pair of tracks sketched out but no finished product."

Dionne Bromfield: 'Winehouse LP is good'
Dionne Bromfield describes Amy Winehouse's new album as "very good".

Dionne Bromfield has described Amy Winehouse's new album as "very good".

The singer, who is the goddaughter of the 'Back To Black' star, admitted that she has heard the highly-anticipated LP, but could not comment on the record's sound.

In an interview with Digital Spy, she said: "I have heard it, and it's very good! I hear she's touring a few places in Europe soon, too, but I don't know where. Obviously I'm saying no more!"

The 15-year-old, who is gearing up to release her sophomore album Good For The Soul later this year, also revealed that Winehouse taught her how to write songs for the LP, adding: "She always looked into what I said and made it a broad topic that everyone can relate to."

Bromfield's latest single 'Yeah Right', which features Diggy Simmons, is available to download now.

I don't know if you guys knew about this but in the photobook "Amy - A Life Through The Lens" it is being said that Amy was supposed to stay and work in Jamaica for 2 weeks but her stay was cut short to one week because apparently she was bombarded by text messages from Blake.

That could be one reason why little  recording was done there. :(

She did also work with Salaam in Barbados, there are paparazzi pictures of her going to the airport to fly back to the UK with 2 guitar cases. According to Mitch "unfortunately little recording got done".

https://millhillmusi...omplex-studios/

Let me start by giving some perspective on this. I have always felt slightly uncomfortable talking about Amy Winehouse. She was a studio customer from the days before she was famous until the day she died. Shortly before she passed, she’d called about doing some recordings. She wanted to do something stripped back, without the big production, but primarily where she was in control and calling the shots. We were sworn to secrecy about the project (no big deal, many artists do this). The sessions were booked provisionally for September 2011. When Amy passed, I was in France. When I came back, the saddest moment of my professional life was getting the Tippex and erasing the sessions from our diary.

I have never been so genuinely excited as when we took the booking. It’s not often we get a Grammy winning artist wanting to record an album worth of material in our little North West London studio. They normally prefer Abbey Road. Although this was likely to be pre prod demo’s, Amy would most likely have ended up recording the final versions at Abbey Road, she said that she needed a less formal enviroment to create and said that if it came out well enough she’d do it all with us.  It was still hugely exciting. She said she wanted to lock herself in the studio with a couple of musicians and simply create.

It is a well known fact that Amy had her troubles. When we last spoke, it was not to a troubled soul. It was to someone who wanted to open a new chapter. She told me she’d been listening to lots of music and was feeling really inspired. This was not inspired in a whacky or drug addled sense. It was in a serious, professional and purposeful manner. She wanted a stripped back, unplugged vibe, more jazz based. She wanted to put out an album that people didn’t expect. Something with a raw depth that maybe she felt the super polished previous albums and the pop tunes hadn’t addressed. I was given the impression that almost no one knew about it. She most certainly didn’t want her label involved until she had what she wanted in the can. She didn’t want someone saying “This is a single, we need XXXXX to produce it now”.

An interesting article i found on twitter regarding some of her plans for the 3rd album.
