I feel really bad for Adele, because they're always comparing her to Amy. She's not bad if you compare her with the so-called artists today (Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna and all that), but comparing her to Amy is a way to say she's nothing good.

I would be a happy camper if Amy and Adele were both still with us and we could enjoy both their talents. The way things should have worked out is we should be enjoying a renaissance of British music spearheaded by, and including, Amy. She had a gift for opening doors for others. The more talented people to listen to, the merrier in my opinion. I think Amy also raised the game of the people she worked with, e.g., Ronson. That's how good she was. But completely humble and ego-less at the same time. Adele said it well: "Amy paved the way for artists like me and made people excited about british music again whilst being fearlessly hilarious and blase about the whole thing."

Amy and Adele are both incredibly gifted. But, for me, Amy gives me the chills. It's effortless - it channels THROUGH her from another place. So many of those clips show her closing her eyes and going with it... it's natural. I love Adele, but I always prefer Miss Winehouse. <3

Well I share yours. Amy's voice is innexplicable. It comes from the heart. I love Adele too, she has personality and good songs, but in terms of voice, I've seen more good.

What is so special with Amy, first she didn't need to force it, but this is sometimes the case of Adele, she never makes a false note(or almost) on stage. Adele yes. And also, she plays with her ​​voice. She plays with notes, with the words, with instruments, with melody ... Amy never had a show exactly like another.
