Hello everyone,

As some of you know, I had some ''complaints'' about my debates. I am told to go check the archives to bring facts and thus make discussions more interesting.

I thought that was the objectif of a debate to be based simply on opinion. In the archives, these are news more than others and these are members that no longer come on the forum for most. The word says, these are archives and I don't see the point of respond on topics of which date back five years ago.

After so many years and new events (like the death of Amy, for example) opinions can change. There are new people on the forum too, who have the right to express themselves.

Many people have encouraged me yesterday, and have affirmed that they would like me continue to post. Thank you for your valuable support. From what I understood most people like the debates, those who are not interested ignore my subjects and that's okay. For those who didn't agree yesterday, please, go your way.

I never made publicity by PM or ask anyone to come and answer. Therefore, I believe disturb no one, & I will not stop until the majority of people ask me, or an administrator come to warn me.

So for those who are here to answer about, good discussion. For those who are not interested, goodbye!

Sorry for my english guys ^^

Letting Daphne Barak and her camera crew near Amy when she was trying to recover was an unfortunate decision. Mitch realised this at some point. Her writing is terrible as well.

I would personally encourage reading old threads and see no problem with reviving them, in my opinion it makes things easier. It's often hard to find something when there are 10 different threads covering the same subject. In case people are intersted, here are some previous threads on Daphne Barak / Saving Amy:

http://www.amywineho...Amy-documentary

http://www.amywineho...tabloid-vulture

http://www.amywineho...Saving-Amy-book
This last one is pretty recent, I posted my opinion there and it hasn't changed since.

Cecilia : I'm not against the archives either. I just think it's a good idea sometimes to renew. Besides, I'm glad that you put links on the debates. I noticed two or three times and I encourage people to read these topics too. It's just sometimes difficult to answer after four years and that's why I want to give chance to new members and why not the former, to give a new opinion.

P.s. I like the way you express yourself on the forum. Agree or not, you know often calm things down and remain neutral. I really appreciate.

After Mitch dismissed and distanced himself from Daphne & Co. He brought yet ANOTHER camera crew to follow Amy around St. Lucia. The documentary, My Daughter Amy, was broadcast in January 2010 in the UK.

Amy's response: WHY don't my dad WRITE a SONG when somethin bothers him instead of going on national tv? an you thought YOUR parents were embarassing

Just for debate's sake, let's shine the spotlight on Mitch & wonder what HIS motivation was. Did it benefit Amy in any way to have her father film a documentary on her during her recovery?

So, Mitch was supposed to be with Amy on that day? He's supposed to be following her 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? If I'm not mistaken, the book is for himself, to help him deal with his emotions. All of the money goes to that, "bogus foundation" which has an amazing purpose.

:amyshock: ?????!!!!!?????

It's likely that this message be deleted because it's clearly enshrined in the rules of the forum, that texts disrespectful to Amy, her friends and/or family are not tolerated. Someone recently wrote something similar and it quickly disappeared.

I agree on the fact that Mitch has made many mistakes and it was not always the right way but there is no written guide that teaches to a father how to live with an addicted child and mentally ill. There is no magic formula, you know.

Moreover, what laws prohibits Mitch to make music simply because his daughter was a singer. Mitch has unintentionally been known by the public because of Amy (and journalists) so why not enjoy doing something he loves. There were years that Amy took risks with bad stuff, how could he foresee the sudden death of Amy that day?

As Liam mentioned, it was totally impossible for him or anyone else to watch Amy 24/24 - 7/7. Be realistic a minimum please. Janis was not present either, neither Reg, nor Blake or Zalon etc.. This makes them irresponsible people who let Amy die by carelessness? Com on!

In closing, I saw full of differents opinions on forums, Facebook, Youtube whatever... but I've never heard anyone say that the foundation was ''bogus''. Ever. The money that Mitch made is all completely sent to the foundation that helps people in needs. This is a great dedication and an effective way to beautify the fragile reputation of Amy Winehouse - know like anything else but a junkie by some closed-mind people. Her name could perhaps save humans lives. Do you really understand what this means and how important it is? Sorry but, it takes considerable nerve to judge a work as heroic.

Amy's life was/is unfortunately based on too negatives, it's true and I'm not against the idea of talking about her many problems, to recognize her mistakes and get interested in what was less good. (Sometimes - not always) But be able to tarnish a supportive foundation that bears her name... What do you need more for accept that Mitch (like everyone else on earth) have qualities? Thinking that an act so generous seems selfish, you are probably rarely satisfied.

Well believe it or not that is exactly what Britney Spears' father did. He moved in with Britney, was in a 24/7 watch over her, removed every enabler from her life with court order, etc and she is alive today. Mitch did that for like 1 second when he locked Amy in her house and she eventually snuck out a window running and the media called her an ape woman or whatever.

Why is the fandom so pro Mitch Winehouse? Yes he was her father but he didn't do much to help her, and whatever little he did he was benefitting from it in the sides.

And YES to me the Amy Winehouse Foundation is a bogus foundation. What exactly is it doing? besides representing an income for Mitch? don't be naive, he must get paid by it somehow.

This is what bothers me, the naivity. Apparently now Mitch is a great father? I don't think so.

But that's exactly what Britney Spears' father did to save her. And anyone that has dealt with an addict knows that it sometimes comes down to basically taking someone with a straight jacket to a detox center in order to save that person's live. There is a way if there is a will to truly save someone from addiction.

No one surrounding Amy, not even her parents, had that will. Amy's death is her own doing and her own fault, nobody else's but why must we enshrine her father? for what? what did he do? he was there just for the goodtimes. Where was he when Amy was walking at night like a zombie, missing her shoes, missing teeth, in a daze, with an infection in her face, looking every bit like a total homeless junkie. Where was he? recording his album, that's where.

Good for Britney Spears! It's not Mitch's duty to babysit his grown daughter. He does have a life you know. I'm not "pro Mitch Winehouse" I just know that he is a decent person, who has made mistakes (like all humans do.) He tried to help her, I think. Are you serious about the foundation? Please tell me you're just trolling. Go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation website. Mitch doesn't get that money - the foundation does - which goes to help others.. Did I EVER say Mitch was a great father? Not once. It's not my position to judge him, nor is it yours.

Yes, very good for Birtney Spears and her fans, who are very well enjoying her music and she is enjoying her life while Amy is just a bunch of ashes in a crypt somewhere.

Obvious troll is obvious. Oh, so an artist has to be alive for them to enjoy their music, eh? Nice logic! Britney isn't releasing new music anyway - her music career is dead. Don't be so naive, silly!

You must be Britney Spears, since you know she is enjoying her life. Last time I heard of her, she was having a mental breakdown in public, shaving her head and all. How are you, Britney?

The day after the arrest of Blake, Mitch was there with Amy for a prison visit. When Blake and Amy fought, Mitch and Janis have rented a room in the same hotel to watch over the couple. Mitch managed the finances of Amy. When she was hospitalized in 2008, he was there every single day. After seeing the video where her daughter smokes crack, he has applied for get her in psychiatry. Do you want more?

OMG - Now, that's enough with your insolence ...$%&#!

Your words are vulgar and I wonder if your motive is not to get people mad, as simply. If you really are a fan of Amy, which I sincerely begins to doubt, well learn to do your grief and get rid of that anger. Obviously, you are angry against Amy to be dead, it is almost unbelievable. You're clearly someone who like who to be negative and loves judging. How can you talk about Amy in these degrading terms. There is a difference between being naive and deny , (which I've never done) and severely criticized. I don't know if you're here to fight but if you are really on this forum for the right reasons, be careful on your speech because you will be banned.
