It's about as empty as I feel when I keep having the realization that she's gone.

I think he meant stupid as in ridiculous... not literally dumb, ya know? I can just imagine Amy saying "stupid" in that kind of tone, so it wasn't really rude to me.

He did live there, I remember reading something about Amy helping him out when he was having problems with booze and he moved in... but I'm pretty sure he didn't discover her body. Maybe he saw it, I dunno.

I just re-read AMD again and realized how much Amy loved this house. she even said to her dad that, "i belong here". God how I wish Mitch and the family reconsider it.. I'd love to visit the house someday. Will def make me closer to her.
