Amy Winehouse - The DL (Interface / AOL) in HQ

Haven't been on this forum for a while. For years I loved listening to Amy's DL session in 2007. She seemed happy and her voice was absolutely flawless. This was something I really treasured. Unfortunately the quality of that session was quite bad:
Finding it in good quality seemed really difficult, until I found the broken link to the podcast and used the WayBackMachine (archive site). This site had the mp3 version of this session archived and I managed to download it .
The audio file includes a nice little interview and 3 songs of that session: You Know I'm No Good, Rehab and Love Is a Losing Game. Unfortunately there's no Valerie. There are videos on the AOL site of these performances but for some reason they won't work. Anyone else have the same problem? I'd love to hear Valerie in HQ.
Anyway, here's a link to the audio file (podcast). Also, the archived site can be found here. There's a photo gallery, but it doesn't show up for me.
I just thought I'd post this, since I haven't seen this anywhere so far.

In the interview:
"It was Mark going - "hey!"...with his silly trans-atlantic voice" Ahhhhhaaaahahahaha, I think i weed myself a little, she does a great impression of Ronson. Miss.her.so.much!
This is classic Amy at her best! Awesome interview, which I had never heard before, thank you :-)
We learn so much in this interview, for example about her 'booby girl' tatoo inspired from Sin City. She seems so positive and enthusiastic and happy to be doing music ("I'm a lucky girl"). How could it go so wrong?

I never listened that interview..THANKS A LOT !!! she also perfoms B2B, i never found that version so sad...
I'm not sure if she performed Back to Black. You could hear B2B in a video, but perhaps they used a different live version? Confusing, because I don't think AOL mentions anything about B2B.
Ohh, thank you for posting!! Maybe @Uno would be able to help us, she's aware of so many searching skills.
I'd love to have the HQ footages too.
Yeah, I saw a thread by Uno which had links to all the footage, but it just doesn't seem to work.
Thanks!!!
No problem ^.^
I had never seen the Love is a Losing Game before... I love these DL raw versions! This is my favourite Valerie version also, I used to listent to it on a loop this time last year :-)

Such a shame Valerie is not included. This live version is a major hit on Youtube actually and I can see why.
And she's incredible in the interview. Very positive and enthusiastic indeed. She does a perfect impersonation of Mark Ronson xD. Also, I had never heard her talk about Lily Allen before.
I wish there was a video of the interview... so much expression in her voice, can only imagine her face
Me too. Would absolutely love to see that. She was as real as can be. And luckily there are some photos of the interview.
I love how her songs still sound amazing when stripped down with hardly any instruments (her voice is the best instrument ever!)...like When Amy Came to Dingle. For me this is Amy at her best :-)
Definitely! A musical miracle.

There's another interview where she talks about Lily Allen when she is promoting Back to Black... I can't find the portion of it where she does but it's from this interview:

I downloaded the video clips from the Spinner site, but I think that they are the same quality of the clips that ended up on Youtube. Here's the audio & video properties from the Valerie video that I have, if you want to compare with that from YouTube.

I'd be happy to up it to Sendspace if you think it's better ...
I'm thinking that just the audio podcast was recorded in a higher quality, and ... they did record the audio of Valerie in higher quality because PART of it is in 'The Interface: Year 1 Retrospective' podcast ...
They just didn't put it in Amy's podcast.
As far as her doing Back to Black while she did this session, other than hearing it in the background of the interview, I haven't read or seen anywhere where they said that she did sing it. But it does seem weird that they would use audio from some other networks session for background music to their interview.

Love Is A Losing Game
Rehab
Valerie
You Know I'm No Good
(I have been collecting live Amy recordings since 2006)
I can't remember where I got these songs from, but they definitely sound better than the compressed MP3 podcast. Much brighter and not as dull.
Almost sounds like it was recorded off a cassette, as it has a "hissy" quality to it.

There is also an .M4a enhanced version of that podcast in the old spinner site, the file is The_Interface_Amy_Winehouse.m4a. I found it by going to archive.org and entering ... spinner.aol.com/artists/the-interface/amy-winehouse ... into the Wayback Machine, then going to the date she was actually there, I think it was either Jan. 27, 2007 or the 29th. There will be two buttons to d/l the podcast, one says mp3 and the other says something like iTunes. The iTunes one is the .m4a enhanced.I looked through my archives and found the following four songs from that session in Apple Lossless format: Love Is A Losing Game Rehab Valerie You Know I'm No Good (I have been collecting live Amy recordings since 2006) I can't remember where I got these songs from, but they definitely sound better than the compressed MP3 podcast. Much brighter and not as dull. Almost sounds like it was recorded off a cassette, as it has a "hissy" quality to it.
