Stopped in Dubai as I do from time to time when traveling... staying at my usual haunt which is the InterContinental Festival City. This is where I missed Amy by a few days in February 2011, as she ended up staying at the same hotel surrounding her performance here in Dubai.

I've walked through the Executive Lounge where an employee/friend told me she often came in to snag a bottle of champers from the bar. But it was kind of eerie today when I was in the gym of the very same hotel and they played Rehab while I was working out.

I'm curious to find out which room she stayed in... since I have the connections here, maybe I should stay in the room... call it bizarre, but maybe it's just a way to feel a connection now that she's been gone over a year.
