I searched the different threads and nothing came up, so I'm hoping this hasn't been posted before.
I came across it by chance on youtube and I'm surprised I had never heard this before...do demos exist for each and every song on B2B then?

I love this. It sounds so authentic. On Lioness I assumed Tears Dry and Wake up Alone were demos (is an original different from a demo? I don't know much about this stuff) so it seems most of them have been released in some way except me and mr jones, just friends and addicted.

I would think that "original" would be like Tears Dry where it's pretty much a completely different song with different chord progressions and such that was later changed and possibly rerecorded to a different musical track. How they changed Tears Dry from a ballad to an upbeat song. A demo would be like a lot of the demos on Frank B-sides because they are, for the most parts, the same songs with usually the same vocal tracks or general feel. The producers would have then just gone back and added more instrumental elements and done some mastering.
At least that's what it is in my opinion.
EDIT: Also, there's not a demo version of Me and Mr. Jones but there is an a capella version that's really nice to listen to just her raw voice.

I love this demo! I remember after she passed, I was a man on a mission... I was looking for every single demo/unreleased song/interview of her possible. Can't believe it's almost been a year... It's really just now hitting me.
Thanks for the post.

That's what I'm doing now. I can't wait to finish my exams to organise my collection of demos, gigs and pictures. I can't describe the joy I feel everytime I hear a new song or version.
Our girl is amazing!

You know, I spend (waste?) a lot of time looking for new videos, interviews, demos etc, so I'm always surprised when I come across something I haven't yet seen!
Thank you for that ladyamy.
I just love how Amy always did her own backing up vocals, I always picture Amy with 2 or 3 more Amies standing behind her doing some choreographed dance :-) ... I think that's a nice comforting thought :pride:

I don't think this is a real a cappella...it sounds like the recorded version?
a capella- without instrumental accompaniment (http://www.merriam-w...nary/a cappella)
It is a capella. I know when most people think of a capella they think of a person getting up and belting it out free style.
This is the recorded version's vocal track without the instrumentals.
This is just like the Frank B-sides Stronger Than Me a capella.
