One year on after her death, the family and friends of Amy Winehouse gathered at the singer’s favourite Soho haunt Jazz After Dark to celebrate her life.

It was where the group also congregated after Amy’s funeral, and despite the sombre nature of the event the guests managed to remain looking upbeat in front of the cameras.
Guests included the star’s goddaughter Dionne Bromfield - who posted a touching tribute to Amy online yesterday - and her boyfriend Reg Traviss who turned up despite his looming trial for rape.
In a statement yesterday the family of Amy said they were still “struggling to come to terms” with her death, saying that they were still thinking of “a daughter and sister that meant the world to them".
At the remembrance gathering last night Mitch Winehouse accepted a generous cheque for the foundation he set up in the wake of his daughter’s death.
