Great read, really.
My favourites:
sniff me out like I was TAKE-AWAY
your rolled up sleeves and your skirt too short
you tear men down like rock'n'roll
What are yours misheard/miunderstood/not understood at all Amy Lyrics? Don't hesitate to tell, ask and reply/correct

i'm still not sure about what she says in this line of Just Friends' lyrics: "not/nor in the morning where your shit works/words (?)"
http://2.bp.blogspot...0/Booklet-5.jpg
"not in the morning when ur shit works"
"sometimes I go about in pity for myself,
and all the while a great wind is bearing me across the sky..."
I wanna keep you here laying next to me ღ sharin our love between the sheets

Also Cherry Wine - I'm sure it's "i want to talk to my ray and my cherry" but everywhere i look it's written as "i want to go through my red and my cherry" i just don't hear that...

wake up alone - 'he swims in my ice by the bed' instead of 'he swims in my eyes by the bed'.
Also Cherry Wine - I'm sure it's "i want to talk to my ray and my cherry" but everywhere i look it's written as "i want to go through my red and my cherry" i just don't hear that...
I agree, that's what I hear. I'm pretty sure the lyrics and vocals date back from her Frank days and I think she's saying she wants to get back home to listen to Ray Charles and play her guitar (Cherry)...

Me neither. I think it's Ray (Charles) as you wrote and not red (wine).

More troubles here:
1. "I know I'd look good on you" (from "Amy, Amy, Amy")
- what does it mean? I have some idea but I don't know for sure
2. "My odds are stacked" (from b2b)
- this time no idea

Still in Wake Up Alone, in "If I was my heart", I always hear "As" instead of "If". But in the album's artwork says "Regardless my heart", definitely, i can't hear it, haha.
She says 'as far as my heart'. You can hear it clearly in the live versions.
I agree on the Cherry Wine lyrics as well, I hear the same as you guys and I really don't even understand 'I wanna go through my Ray and my Cherry'. Ok, Ray Charles records, going through the records... But go through Cherry? No sense imo  Red makes zero sense as well. Go through my red wine ...collection? :cold:
He still stands in spite of what his Mars bar says.
