we will be celebrating amys birthday with a live radio broadcast ! <3 with lots of AMYLUV<3
mermaids and sailors, young and young at heart ...
here is what to expect: earlier in the day on 9/14 we will be playing our station's mixes to get you in party mode (let's try to celebrate and not be sad!), and amy's music (the frank deluxe edition), covers, and very little or no B2B album.
then at 9:00pm please enjoy the selections dedicated to amy, all based on her personal journeys through life and music, there will be good'ole songs with a few fun spins. and especially : amy's more rare acoustic and live performances <3 <3 thank you, and see you on 9/14 as we celebrate 30 years since the birth of our Queen.
she remains in our hearts and minds, as a great musician and excellent person, a teacher, a genius. a sensitive and caring human being. an angel. and this is our gift to her. hope she can hear the music up in Heaven... we will be thinking and loving her!!!!

I don't do any press releases! with everything going on in england for amys30 and with the amy winehouse foundation raising funds, i (i may be wrong) but i doubt it that bbc will look at our press note -they will most likely ignore it. bbc has their own radio stations.
i would much rather you posted the show on your social networking walls, tell your friends and get together with some people to listen to this special gift for amy that we want to share with her fans! have a drink (or tea), and enjoy the show. it's going to be unique, wonderful like amy. please please! dont' get me wrong, if someone else wants to do it and send a press release, by all means go ahead, im fine with it. i would love nothing more for ALL her fans worldwide to know about the show and have the possibility to celebrate amys birthday together as one virtually on 9/14!!! but please this will really help to get the word out : re-post the event everywhere you can and tell all your friends that this is their chance to join an amazing musical celebration!! thanks again [MENTION=3880]Geografo[/MENTION] <3 <3

I love this forum. I haven't been in a while but I've had to check back in.

I'm gutted that I can't possibly make it to Camden for Amy's 30th and the statue unveiling. However, if, like me, any of you are in the US, check this event out.

I just got tickets to Broadway Sings Amy Winehouse on Monday, 9/9. There are some tremendous voices and for those of us who can't make it across the pond, this might be a great time to come together to celebrate our girl.
