Huh? I never went against the fact that not everything is the truth... Just laughing at people who would have the time to write lies. You sound angry lol

No, I'm not angry at all, I just thought your comment was funny, as if the one thing stopping people from making shit up in interviews was lack of time. When you get paid to write stuff, you find the time! :-)

of course the media misconstrues things to their advantage but as u said that isn't the case here, there's nothing to really manipulate. nothing in this interview displays a hot story, it's a pretty innocent script and i don't think they have anything to gain by adding false info to this one in particular. now if it were a heart to heart interview about drugs & alcohol then perhaps

Again, it's not the content that I found odd, just the style and flow. I'm not saying anything is made up in this interview, I don't know where you got that impression. That interview is so structured, I wondered whether Amy had written it herself, it sounds like Amy writing an essay about herself for school. Or it's been tweeked so much by the journalist asking the questions that the end result is way too polished for my liking, I find it doesn't really reflect Amy that well.

haha my initial comment wasnt really directed to u, (to be honest..i didnt even see it..dont mean that in a bitchy way but i just read a few comments scrolling down quickly) a couple people on the first page misinterpreted what u said i think and that's what i was leaning my first post towards. im sorry about the confusion and yes i agree that the interview was poorly drafted, more like a high schoolers view on what a layout for an interview should look like

"sometimes I go about in pity for myself,
and all the while a great wind is bearing me across the sky...
"

I wanna keep you here laying next to me
sharin our love between the sheets

Completely agree on both points. I know that with the work I do, I have minimums to meet, and sometimes it takes a bit of bullshitting (or reiterating) to meet them. When you're being paid for it, you really do find the time, as silly as that is.

I also thought the interview sounded strange. Not that it WASN'T Amy, exactly, but that it wasn't structured to sound like Amy, if that makes sense. Not a great job on the writer's part. I've seen articles of interviews read well (Rolling Stone's 2 interview articles with Amy read pretty well IMO), and this just wasn't one of them. The journalist's style messed the proper flow up or something, I think, made it sound very strange and almost more of an interpretation than an interview.
