Most of the vocal sounds like the 'original" version on YouTube, including her brief "voice change" to a lower register at 0:55, but I didn't hear the band come in at about one third the way in as does in the original and the acoustic backup is different.  The ending is clearly different, but it seems to be not very artfully added. I wonder if this is not an edited/remixed version of the original recording for the Bridgette Jones movie.

 

I never heard this version before. I do like the pictures of Amy on this clip.

It sounds like it might be a demo for the version with the same time length that ended up on 'The Soul Of Unplugged And Electrified'. Since they both have the same time length, I've never clicked on this one, thinking it was the one from 'Soul', so thanks for posting it   It's  more 'Amy in the raw' before the producers got their hands on it.


While we're on the topic of this song ...

At about 23:47 of the following video, in an interview with CBC.ca Radio, Robert Harris talks about playing Amy's version of this song to Don Kirshner (who once published, produced and promoted for Carole King) and when he listened to it, he was brought to tears.

Aaaah I heard this maybe a couple of years ago and I've been looking again for it since, I thought I'd imagined it when all I could find was the Bridget Jones one. Cheers melnik So good to hear just her and her guitar. I prefer this to the two studio versions, it's so damn good!
