I discovered this song about a year after I started listening to Amy. If the notes in the link are accurate, Amy was 17 or 18 when she recorded this song.  I think few if any of the most cutting edge songwriters would create something like this in their entire careers let alone as a teenager.  The deliberate dissonance  and lines like "Through the puddle in my head" and "Yeah, it's nice to meet you too." catch the listener (at least me) off guard. I think Amy's genius actually was apparent in some of these early unreleased songs, especially this one. It's not a pretty song.  I don't think it's supposed to be, but music doesn't need to be "pretty" to be good. She hates her "alcoholic logic" and it comes though.

The notes say Amy co-wrote this song with "Major". Does anyone know who this is or have any other information about this song?

EDIT, 8 June, 2014:  I found a pervious post in Songs and Lyrics of this song (28 Oct 2011).  That however was the You Tube version. This version is different.  The sound quality is better and the presentation is more powerful in my opinion.
