Hi guys. i just came across to a awful situation I found myself into because of a stupid comment I regret.

http://www.amywineho...the-first-time/

@Muchloveria said he/she left the forum years ago because he/she didn't felt comfortable. I know i's not my problem. In fact is her/his problem but I wondered then if I was mistaken.

I started this thread for you guys to read what this person said. I'm not pointing towards the discussion but the strict and negative behavior he/she is pointing at. (I must admit I don't feel that way at all). Knowing that there are so many people that would leave or never sign up is sad :(

Is there anything we can do about it? Do you think it's soooooo important to keep the forum as organized as possible? Don't you think we should kinda relax and let people post as long as it's informative?

ps: I include myself as "we" cause i'm part of the forum and I felt I had to do something about it.

Nice day,

Felicitas aka Bogart

ps: i'm not sure this is the right place to post it but i thought it was as it's the Support section

It is pretty annoying when new threads are made for everything without searching or in the wrong place, but it just has to be approached in a friendly way by the mods which it generally is. It is probably best to leave correcting other people to melnik, Cecelia etc just to avoid arguments occurring like in the Blake thread. Sure, she may have been trigger happy with posting threads but I think it's one of those things that needs to be dealt with tactfully and though you meant it in a friendly way, sometimes things on the internet get taken the wrong way in written context.

For what it's worth, I thought the whole thing about people being scared away from the forum was just hyperbole. A lot of people have left because there isn't anything new to discuss and numbers on here are dwindling, and discussion is generally recycled so a lot of members who have been on here for a while leave. There's been occasional fall outs and arguments on here for years but it's never really had a massive impact on people coming and going.
