Sadly not the official full version that we ALL want so desperately, but taken directly from the film's audio to listen to infinitely, cause I know that's what I'll be doing until the full version somehow surfaces!

I'd sure like to know where this song actually came from and why the Amy Movie has it being from NYJO. In the comments section of the NYJO website they have responded to two posts with the first reply saying "Nothing Amy sang with us has been released I’m afraid." and the other post saying "Actually that’s not NYJO Amy’s singing Moon River with I’m afraid."

I am sure they will realese this song in 40 years. They are doing the same with legends like Janis Joplin or Jimi Hendrix.

Fabulous!

It is! Her voice was so different, amazingly great yet kind of soft, reassuring and calming. Can't explain it really well. X

When Amy died, almost 11 years to the day from her NYJO debut, Bill Ashton opined that: “…the pop world has lost an icon – the jazz world lost a great jazz singer several years ago”.

What did he mean?(the jazz world lost a great jazz singer several years ago”.)

I'm thinking he might have meant that when Amy switched to more soul with B2B vs her Frank jazzier stuff

Yeh, Jazz singers are born and Amy was a phenomenal jazz singer. Moody's Mood just blows the doors off everything I've heard in that respect.

such a trajedy.
