I have been a HUGE fan of Amy for years now and know pretty much everything about her.. I wanted to start this thread so some of us can post unknown facts about Amy that some of us may not know (favourite foods, places and other random facts etc.) thanks :)

She used to love eating meatballs and other snacks at Jazz After Dark in London, so much so they made a special platter on the menu called "Amy's Favourite Platter" which contains southern fried chicken, meatballs, chicken wings and chips. There's also a cocktail named "Back to Black" containing her favourite black and white vodka floated over lemonade :)

Her cabbage patch dolls were called Fe and Melina!  I always remembered that one from Janis's book.  I had two cabbage patch dolls too lol.

In the midst of her drug addiction she used to cry really loudly every night apparently, whilst she was lying alone in bed before sleep. Her flatmate in early 2008 said it sounded horrible, and then in the morning she used to wake straight up and go to the heroin. Sorry to darken the tone, but it shocked me when I found out. xxx

The first and only time I heard she would be crying at night during the height of her addictions was when Alex, her former hairstylist mentioned it in the autopsy documentary-show, whatever that special was. I was like, okay thanks but no thanks for that private information but I didn't need to hear that. But I never heard about neighbors being able to hear her crying. Was this released to the press, just like everything from her personal life was being shared to the press?

Oh Alex scumbag Foden. He released lots of shit to the press which true or not happened when Amy was in such a bad place, and as you say was strictly private, and should never have been shared with anyone. The only thing I can remember that struck me as likely to be true unfortunately was that he said that Amy didn't want to be helped. The thing is, was he trying to help her or not? Doesn't seem so but we weren't there. Never read anything about the neighbours, but if it's him we're talking about there's tons of unreliable crap that came out from his mouth😡

Other facts came to my mind: Amy used to Skype with fans sometimes, lucky them.

In St. Lucia, she helped a lot of local kids, also I think she paid for an urgent expensive operation for someone over there, and saved a woman from drowning in the sea. And she loved horse riding there.

Such a sweet kind soul x

Sadly, this kind of information sounded the most honest to me, of all the things he said.

It doesn't seem that far-fetched. He saw Amy at her worst, as they were both addicts together.

Should he have shared it with everyone? Probably not, but I guess he is still haunted by the things they went through. Addiction is ugly.

Agree@Hello Sailor what he said in that respect was true, it's not rocket science what they went through while on drugs. Addiction is an ugly monster but people do not need to know the darkest details about your friend in agony and exactly what was going on those days. Don't feel the guy has always been genuine towards Amy, and from what I read he used her name for fame, and apparently took a journalist to the funeral. There's shit he said/did that's been posted on the forum which is best not to remember.

I'm sure he had good words for her and for how she supported with his rehab, and as well as addiction he was lucky to share with Amy nice memories and appreciate her beautiful soul. Perhaps he should have spoken up more about these instead.

On a positive note, going back to the topic, I think they sort of came up with the beehive together, isn't it? x

There's no proof of that.
