It's going to be released on the 17th of June

 

 

 

To mark the 5th anniversary of Amy Winehouse's death, ArtBook Editions is honouring the Bristish singer with a beautiful book entitled : « Amy Winehouse – 27 Forever ».

 

It features stunning photographs from the archives of leading British and French press agencies. A biography written by author and journalist Christophe Geudin is also part of this rich and rare iconography.

Looks outstanding, and so is the price.  Have to pass on this one.  I hate when death anniversaries are commemorated...wait a few months and commemorate her birthday, please.

I finally got the regular edition after it was discounted over the Easter holiday. It's lovely and one of the few Amy books that doesn't feel exploitative or trashy in any way. I think there's still a small discount if you visit the website - it was delivered in good time too, so no complaints.

There's another edition coming out in October. The main difference seems to be that it's for a commercial publisher (not self-published) and it contains interviews with people who knew Amy.I was a bit annoyed to see this on Amazon right after buying the first edition, but it looks nice and I'm glad it will now reach a worldwide audience. https://m.facebook.c...089109674507515
