If you check the Amy's Spotify page, below "Back to Black (Remix and B Sides)" you can find what I guess it's the REAL back to black demo that I was never able to find on Youtube.

Some lyrics are different from the album version, for example in the first chorus she sang

 

We never say goodbye with words

I died a hundred ...?

 

Can somebody please tell me what she was saying in that chorus?

Yeah, it's the same one, just shorter than the album version.

 

I'm fairly happy that the word is "deaths" rather than "days", but it's so similar it's difficult to tell.

The original demo is just a few seconds over three minutes long

"deaths" makes more sense than "days".  "to die a thousand deaths" is an expression.

Yes, they're the same version. The person who made the video on Youtube just typed the wrong words in the lyrics.
