Dirty Diana Dasrath & The TMZ Threat
Diana Dasrath was the lesser known Queen of TMZ. Under Harvey Levin, her job was to get the story before anyone else. She ruled with an iron fist. Her mind games were legendary from sabotaging video cameras that her videographers were to use to giving her paps impossible locations to get to in rush hour traffic. She liked to keep her minions on a fire pit of insecurity and mind fucks.
Diana Dasrath came from London worked at WENN a paparazzi agency that once had a pre star Amy Winehouse as a receptionist. The story goes that WENN was a hippie type agency where coke and other party favors were used openly. Once Amy Winehouse became a huge international star, the same agency where she once answered their phones, covered her every move as she stumbled through London town highly addicted to booze and drugs.
WENN probably was the start of Dasrath rise to power where her heart was possibly crushed by a break up by the CEO’s son. Diana became an ice queen out for blood and power. Where could she get the control she so desperately craved? TMZ.
Diana Dasrath made a chess move to the “Thirty Mile Zone” in its heyday when Robertson Blvd was a hot spot for celebs like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton to go shopping, the Ivy restaurant would still get A-listers and one could see a budding wanna be Kim Kardashian begin to make her mark on the reality world.
Diana created a list that had every one who was anyone’s address. And she built up her throne of male underlings that would be on her beck and call to get the story. To say Dasrath was ruthless was an understatement. Diana Dasrath finally had the power she craved and men to break. She was given full reign and for a while TMZ prestige grew.
But cracks were starting to show. There were rumors that drugs were openly used in the TMZ office. The older paparazzi that had made TMZ from the ground up were starting to realize that their iron clad contracts forbid them to pursue other “entertainment’ options such as appearing on other TV shows, getting movie roles or any other pursuit that would be seen as a conflict to the TMZ corporate shackles. They also realized that if they left TMZ they could not based on their contract work for another company with any similarities to TMZ for a period of several years. The harder the videographer worked and produced for Diana Dasrath/TMZ it was never good enough or it was never going to get them a reward. They didn’t own the content that they created and they started to realize working for TMZ has a highly stressful job that lead to serious addictions. One became addicted to the chase of excitement, the need to be constantly up and the lows with dealing with Diana and never getting her approval.
Diana Dasrath besides being an ice Queen she became the mother/lover figure who no matter what one did it was never good enough. She knew how to manipulate that weakness in her subordinates. She knew how to crush a person when they were at their lowest.
How does that connect into me? I watched and listened to stories from videographers complain and discuss Diana Dasrath’s dealings. In September of 2014 I was assaulted and robbed by Marion Suge Knight and Katt Williams. One of Diana’s underlings videotaped the aftermath while the investigating Police officer was taking my initial statement. He said he wasn’t recording he lied. He was. Instead of TMZ reporting on the robbery that night or the next day, they held on to the story. I failed to mention before that Diana Dasrath had multiple reasons for not going forward with the robbery. For one, Dasrath was close pals with Alki David FilmOn/HologramUSA CEO who owned the studio were Marion Suge Knight and Katt Williams were visiting the day when the crime occurred. TMZ had a relationship with Alki posting his P.T. Barnum-esque “entertainment’ stories such as Michael Jackson’s son and George Zimmerman fighting DMZ & Rampage. Alki David loved attention and Diana Dasrath gave it to him via media snippets on TMZ. The truth never matter much to Diana Dasrath and media whores whose only concern is money and power. So TMZ sat on the story until Katt Williams and Suge Knight were arrested a month or so later. But they edited the video clip of what I said to the BHPD. It only included me saying “Suge Knight is Dangerous” or something to that effect. The video was conveniently edited for the promotion of their story.
Diana Dasrath called me and requested a comment. I told her I was not giving one and that I only answered her call out of professional courtesy. In the past I had dealings with TMZ and I also knew how they treated contributors. More often than not contributors were throw under the TMZ bus when a celebrity was involved as was the photographer that was killed chasing the original “Justin BIeber smoking marijuana story”. During her call, Dasrath said that no lawyers would help me – that she heard I was having difficulty finding an attorney for a civil suit. She seemed so happy and content over my misery. I ended the call with the feeling that my life was going to being fucked in regards to standing up for myself and legally going after the people that assaulted me. I knew TMZ was playing for the other team.
And it was soon proven by several exclusive videos of Katt Williams using TMZ as his bully pulpit to plead his case to the public. First he said there was “ No altercation with that woman”, then he said “that I was alone with a child in the alley” – he failed to mention that the “child” was Suge Knight’s son and furthermore, who leaves their child unattended in an alley with cars speeding through? He said other untrue things but he didn’t realize that I had video disputing everything he had said on TMZ.
I gave the video to my agent who sold my video to TMZ because I was sick and tired of being used as a pawn on theirs as well as other lazy copy and paste whatever TMZ says sites. We live in a world where people believe the person yelling the loudest even if that person is on drugs or has other mental issues. A person doing their job professionally is given very little respect. Anyway, Diana Dasrath got her wish it has been more than a challenge to get legal help in Los Angeles when Suge Knight has hired so many of this town’s lawyers in previous cases. Also it is difficult to have confidentiality if law firms and their secretaries sell information to TMZ. TMZ used to brag about having so many police, court workers, law firms, valets and more on their payroll and speed dial.
So two years later after the crime that happened to me , Suge Knight stands accused of the murder of Terry Carter. TMZ made a killing repeating ad nauseam the running over of a man as if it was a Grand Theft Auto video game. The same man who was let out on bail on my case was freed on $500,000 bail. Suge Knight who appeared on exclusive TMZ video in a Xmas sweater in front of his beloved red truck threatening his enemies, is now in jail complaining about his health while he awaits trial for murder. My robbery case which happened first, is delayed until after the murder trial due to the seriousness of the Terry Carter case.
As for Katt Williams, he has had numerous run-ins with the law since 2014. To be fair he has had numerous allege crimes before but he has had a flurry in this year alone with 8 at last count. His fans don’t take the crimes/allegations seriously but his victims do.
The survivors of the crimes take violence seriously and the after effects of the medical bills, the stress, the depression and the physical challenges that have to be dealt with. We also can’t help but realize the court system needs some cleaning up so repeat violent offenders are taken off the streets sooner whether they are celebrities or not.
As for Dirty Diana Dasrath she is no longer working for TMZ. The ice Queen has moved on to other entertainment pastures. There was a rumor she was at Access Hollywood but I doubt her need for cruelty and viciousness can be satisfied at such a lily white venue.
