Yes it happened. I inboxed someone and cursed them out on fb messenger for talking bad about Amy. lol I was so mad and usually I would never do something like that but this is what happened. There was this picture on facebook asking if you could go to any one of these concerts and you could only pick one who would it be. And it was curt cobain, Michael Jackson, jimmy Hendrix, Bob Marley, and I forgot who else and then Amy was one of them. (Of course my choice is amy. I never saw her in concert ever ). Anyway one of the top comments was 'why is Amy even on this list. She was a one hit wonder, junkie, trash bag, whore..every possible worst thing one can say about someone. So I had to school him. Usually I don't care about these things but when you speak of her bad musically-that bothers me! When they didn't even take the time to go listen to her music and are just basing their decision on her one song rehab because it was on the radio. Anyway the guy called me a trash bag and told me to eat a dick. Haha, I said gladly. Sadly it was an older guy-had to be in his 30s or 40s. How sad how ignorant he was.

Well done for sticking up for Amy. I think I would have thrown a few facts at him like the Grammys she one, the fact that Back To Black is currently no 13 ( I think) on the best selling albums of all time in the UK. One hit wonder? Valerie and Rehab both made the top 10 and so did Back To Black (albeit after she died) etc etc. And of course Jimi's death was drugs related. Yes I would have replied to his nonsense as well so well done you!

Hi, the FB post is still there so I guess you've been blocked. I replied to his comment with this -There are a lot of respected and knowledgeable people in the music industry who recognised Amy as a true talent and the best voice of her generation, including Tony Bennett and Bob Dylan. As for being a one hit wonder, she might have only had TWO singles and TWO albums in the Billboard charts while she was alive but USA is just one country. She had numerous hits around the world and FB covers the entire world not just the USA. And being the first British singer to receive FIVE Grammy awards on one night was no mean feat. This was not equalled until Adele did it this year. Amy received six Grammys in total. I could go on giving more facts as to why she deserves to on this list (Back To Black 78 weeks on the Billboard chart) but I think I've said enough.
