In this interview that Mitch did while at the Foundation's gala, he says that his Amy documentary is still in development and that he also wants her life story to be turned into a musical ...

That doc won't be as succesfull as Asif's. I've been an Amy fan since 2006 and believe, this guy is as evil as dead. It pisses me off the fact that he is still earning money with Amy's talent. Mitch, please just release her music and a new album. After all, she was a singer!

Hey guys, sorry for being away for so long! Hope everyone on the Forum has been keeping well!

All I will say is - I hope Mitch doesn't turn Amy's life into a musical. That just makes what happened to her seem trivial and tacky, in my opinion. Even a new documentary would be pointless. I think Mitch should just keep his head down and continue working on the Foundation, which is much more productive than churning out product out of spite.

You're an Amy Fan since 2006?? Then I guess, you're longer a fan of hers than Mitch.

He doesn't go out there for her music or for her legacy, this film and all the thngs he's doing is about himself and maybe it can be seen as some kinda 'cleanwashing' or 'namecleaning' campaign. This is his purpose. Maybe it's because he was a terrible father (there's been enough proof of that long before Asif's doc came out) and now he's in deep regret and wants to make something good with film and fundation, just to make good for the time he wasn't there. Or (and that's way more plausible) he wants to be spindoctoring and thinks, he can make people believe, he was a better dad, by showing an inaccurate pro-Mitch biopic about him and his live with Amy. But were not as dumb as to believe this stuff, are we?

I also don't think, this movie (sorry, that's how I call it) will be as successful as Asif's biopic, or even successful at all. But sadly, ther will be enough teens and people, that aren't really fans, who would watch it and believe it, even though it ain't even accurate.

Yeah, the musical I can do WITHOUT, nobody else can sing Amy's songs and express the true personal emotion that they contain.

But on the other hand, even tho his film most likely won't be as successful as Asif's biopic, I'm open to any new footage, songs, or lyrics, if he includes them. Hopefully he realizes that if he doesn't include anything new that his film will just be the same old 'documentary thing' that has been released over and over again in the past, other than Asif's, of course.

It's known that he does at least have some music that we haven't heard yet, the NYJO songs, and Amy's demo of 'My Own Way', which was the song that Mitch and the recording engineer found on an old tape while they were in the studio back in 2013.

So, let's just hope that if he's really gonna do this film thing, that he gets with the program and 'really continues her musical legacy' by including some new material.

I really hope they will add something new on that documentary.

If they don't include anything new, then I don't see any purpose of creating nor releasing it.

Love Amy 4 Ever ❤️❤️❤️
