I was thinking since they seem to be going ahead with an Amy Winehouse movie, I'd like to see Dana Delorenzo play her.
Dana is an American character actress best known for starring in Ash vs Evil Dead as the ultimate badass Demon slayer Kelly Maxwell.
She would make an amazing Amy. She looks almost exactly like her, and she used to be an Amy Winehouse impersonator in a tribute band, House of the Winehouse. She's also a patron of the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
Here's what she had to say about Amy.
"Playing #AmyWinehouse in our tribute band #HouseOfWinehouse, sharing her music, her wit, her genius with fellow fans was the best time of my life. She was incomparable. I miss her."
Whilst I'm not sure about a movie about her, I do think Dana would do the part justice.
(She also said she based her most famous character Kelly on a quote from Amy. The quote is "I don't think beating someone in a fight is about how big or tough you are. Just how much anger you have in you." When you look at Kelly in action you can see that's true LOL.)
