Amy Winehouse was an extraordinary musician with an unforgettable voice, and her meteoric rise saw her blossom into a truly global star who changed the landscape of modern pop culture. However, the world also witnessed her drug and alcohol addiction, dramatic weight loss and involvement in a destructive relationship. These factors led to her premature death in July 2011, aged 27. But he refuses to allow a simple makeup line because he "wasn't consulted". I'd bet money the estate makes quite a bit on those documentaries. I also find it interesting that they titled it "13 Reasons Why" (seemingly after that Netflix show)

The only part of this mortifying documentary which gets my approval is the moment when one of the interviewees mentions that Amy was a great guitarist. So there's at least one person who agrees with me on this (if he was being sincere). Obviously I don't mean great when it comes to her technique, but rather her unusual playing style and the intensive emotional involvement she manages to get through her minimalist style.
