What were the unfinished demos "destroyed" by universal music referring to this whole time? Were they tracks from previous years?

Does anyone remember the interview in 2010 where he said he is in the "midst of finishing up" her new album? I've been looking for it on Google but I cannot find it anymore. It was from a black-themed site like essence or something like BET

So the third album was never recorded?

Yes i think the final album as it was planned/intended to be was never recorded. Of course she worked on music in the years following to her death but it is unclear if those demos would've been selected for the album. So as Janis said Amy was always singing and writing, i think she also changed plans and ditched songs. I would love to know what she was going to call those 14 songs which she finished writing. And maybe also read the lyrics to them.
