Hi all. Jake Freedman who originally leaked the Stevie Wonder cover ‘Lately’ left a comment under the song ‘Get over it’ saying they were looking at this song. He left the comment around the time Lately was leaked. Could be interesting!

Did you get the 3-track promo? I'm very curious if this promo features a different version of "Get Over It" or at least the popular version with good quality.

I randomly browse here every couple of years because I like seeing old pictures time to time.
So the problem with Get Over It is that it was literally one of the first songs I’d ever recorded, I wasn’t really decent at rapping then.
Myself, Amy and Jack wrote the song at like 3am and recorded it on the spot under a bunk bed type thing. We recorded two songs then, Get Over It and she featured on another song of mine at the time called ‘The Real Me’.
However being young and stupid, we sold the computer that had the files on it, so they were wiped, we didn’t think much of it at the time it was a cruddy PC. Hindsight we wanted to re vocal it but we never had the parts, the quality is not great due to this reason. Jack last year found a CD with the parts on it but the CD was damaged so we were exploring how much we could save and do properly, it just never happened though. The song appears on 2 promo CDs one mine, one a DJ set and then on vinyl but there’s no real top quality version I’m afraid, if we ever mend the CD maybe we could solve it.

It would purely be for a memory and to give the song the quality it deserves.
I don’t think it’ll ever happen either way.

Doesn't look like it. Perhaps we could ask Tyler about it, he used to be very close with Mr Lacey.
