The description has: "Big band special - this isn't Jools Holland or The Stables performance"
I wouldn't find it special in terms of where is this from, if it hadn't the crowd applause in the end. Makes me wonder, what show was it? Was it filmed? Is there any picture of Amy there?
I would hope it is Union Chapel, because it has a presenter as well, a crowd, it is November 2006, but it's not. There is an original file uploaded on Soundcloud by "BBC Big Band", and it is claimed to be: "Recorded live in concert at The Stables Wavendon, November 2006"
Source file: https://soundcloud.c...osing-game-live
In the original file, the end has some more Amy speaking and saying actually " Thank you very much, ok , I'm gonna try..." SO she did more that day,
And she DID more, according to this thread:
"This is only about a 1 minute audio snippet of Amy singing 'Love Is A Losing Game' at The Stables Wavendon in November 2006. It was recorded live with BBC Big Band, conducted by Bary Forgie. Amy sang this and two other songs that night and it has been broadcast on BBC Radio 2 Clare Teal presents the Big Band Special. This person says he has it all but can't post it, if you are reading this my friend, please, please do, so that we all can enjoy it!!!"
Does anybody know the other two songs Amy did that night?
Update: The file had leaked from 2013, and it is NOT the "Amy Winehouse at the BBC - Stables" 2012 version, which is here:
This has Jonathan Ross speaking in the end, while in this topic's version, Amy herself is speaking in the end.
This topic's version had surfaced in low quality by one of the major Amy youtube channels in 2013:
Amy is speaking in the beggining and in the end as well.
It seems Amy did 2 Big Band Specials with BBC in B2B era
