Hey all!

I've got a question about Amy's vocals in late 2010. So, why was it that her voice got deeper (for instance, Body & Soul) in late 2009-11? she sounded more "Jazzy" and had that touch. I feel like if she lived longer, her next "Comeback" album would be a bestseller. She had more of a Contralto then than back to black. i feel like she wasnt classified as a contralto singer back in early 2000's. her voice was more "Soft" compared to "Back To Black". It started soft, mid deep, deeper, and deepest at the end. I've heard drugs make your voice weaker, but it seemed to make hers stronger.

Maybe it had something to do with how she smoked? Either way, her low range sounded fantastic!
