Let's not forget this. Never.
This is the real Blake, who is protrayed as 'romantic' and 'gentleman' in the movie

I don't think I believe hardly a word that comes out of that asshole's mouth. I doubt he's changed much, seems like he's pulling off a façade just so people will leave him alone. Not gonna work, dude. The damage has already been done and somehow his stupid ass thought it was smart to mistreat a woman who is practically idolized where they lived. He's going to be scrutinized until the day he's gone.

Everyone makes mistakes when they're young, especially if they're drug addicts.
Amy clearly saw something good in him despite all his flaws. No need to bash her decision to love a flawed man.
I don't think it was just by decision. Her manipulated her and molded her into submission so he could get what he wanted; drug money and (most likely) fame. There is no other logical explanation I can think of, because Amy would never kneel to someone else, she wasn't that kind of person until she met that bastard. He was clearly scum and exploited a vulnerable woman to get what he wanted. I don't give a fuck if she loved him or not— it was wrong. And I think she knew it.
Amy was too caught up in her own problems to think twice about it. If he loved her, he has a fucked up way of showing it by selling stories on her, taking controlling of her life, making everything including their wedding about him, and introducing her to hard drugs. Yeah, she had probably tried them before but he got her hooked because he had her so obsessed with him. He had that seductive power over Amy. In the end, it was about nothing else but money. He's a narcissistic cunt and his actions show that. It was never about Amy, or whatever they had between each other.

Yes; and I 100% believe he married her as a way to secure access to her money. He dumped her but then as soon as she was getting very famous, he became part of her life again. Just like Mitch.

They're far from the only ones, too many made money off Amy. But of all people in her life to fail her, it should have not been her husband and her father. She needed a good support system, and these two men were some of the few who could get her stubborn ass to do anything. I mean, Reg could have, too. Instead, it's
"Reg, you do think I should go to rehab?"
"I dunno if I should make that decision for you."

I thought I was the only one that noticed this! It’s so convenient how as soon as she became ultra famous he came back. After all that heartbreak and pain, really dude? That situation makes it hard for me to believe he even loved her. If she had never gotten that famous she would’ve just been another heartbroken woman and he would’ve never came back. Also when she cheated and he said fuck her, I look better than her. No you don’t mister!!! Not by a long shot

I agree too. Amy then had another boyfriend and was doing well, Back to Black was really taking off… then guess who comes crawling back. I wish Amy had have been stronger; Blake said in an interview around that time “it’s taken tenacity and fucking perseverance, but there was no way we were never going to be together” - funny how his feelings changed when he seen her growing success, fame and money. He must have completely worn her down.
Blake introduced her to crack and heroin right after they got back from America married, she had never done either of those before. I really feel that he waited til after they were married to do this so they were more tied together in a sense, as he had already used before.
