Nothing. In my opinion, she suffered from an emotionally unstable personality disorder (borderline syndrome).

I think this, and adhd. It’s wrong to diagnose someone who can’t speak for themselves but everything she did when she was younger shows classic telltale signs of adhd. Coming from someone with it. Maybe they’re mistaking that for autism.

I agree. I think it's an interesting topic but her appearing uninterested in interviews was her personality, not a sign of autism in my opinion. She def had borderline personality disorder I believe personally.

Is it just me or is autism awareness going a little too far?

You're socially awkward. You're probably autistic.

Girl had borderline personality disorder, ADHD, and possibly social anxiety disorder. This topic's been touched quite a lot. She was not autistic and whether she had Tourettes syndrome is inconclusive, she just had a big mouth and I don't think Tourettes syndrome was the cause. I have ADHD myself, and anxiety, she may have had social anxiety as well, which made her shy person (up until the consumption of alcohol) but ADHD also does the same. ADHD and anxiety make a horrible combination for sure, as someone who suffers from both. Social anxiety is also what drives people like me from things such as doctor's appointments, which Amy absolutely dreaded.

But there's another possibility she did not have BPD at all, because ADHD has similar symptoms of low self-esteem, compulsive behavior such as lack of self-control and doing things without thought of consequence. Her case of ADHD may have been quite severe if that is so.

This might sound creepy as fuck but I saw a LOT of me in her when it came to impulses. Later in life she seemed to have an increase in anger issues and I think that stemmed from the head injury she suffered after Blake dumped her in 2005. She was drunk and fell down the staircase, hit her head so hard there was a lump. She was found foaming at the mouth in a puddle of vomit as if she suffered a seizure from the head trauma, the alcohol, or both. It's kinda clear to me that her speech became a bit slurred since then, and her train of thought isn't exactly aligned on the rails like it used to be.

Amy had numerous seizures after that, which may have deteriorated her mental stability, second to substance abuse which causes large amounts of damage on the brain when done in the long-term. It's clear she suffered a severe concussion and seemed to go untreated. The long-term effects of MBTI can take months or even years to appear. Blake has also hit her, that's confirmed, I don't know how often he hit her in the face, but he did at least once, busting her lip open on her birthday in 2007, which I made a post about. One good punch can cause long-term neurological damage.

Eating disorders... that is just another addition to the cocktail of Amy's mental health. Malnutrition can do all kinds of harm to your mental health. I also believe she was a sufferer of PTSD, something happened to her in her teens that she didn't mention to anyone. If she has, it was a disclosed topic.
