I know this is a private/specific question. I've never read any of the books on Amy (like Tyler's for example). I know for a fact that he talked thoroughly about Amy's perfomance at Serbia. But does anyone knows what happened AFTER the concert?

All I know is that Moby played on that very same stage and that the tour got cancelled the following day (June 19th) but I am curious to know about what Amy did: Was she conforted by her band members? Was she scolded? Who was she with that night? Was she directly sent to the hotel or London or any nearby hospital?

 

Poor thing... it really breaks my heart until today. I am angry because I DO believe that concert was the last straw that lead to her passing and she was very clear beforehand in the sense she didn't want to do it.

How ironic! The same team that pushed Amy to perform was in charge of taking care of her? Was she taken to a hotel or was she sent to London immediately after the gig?

I had the feeling that the band had already lost their personal contact with Amy at this point. According to Kapadia's film, she said she screwed up but now she can go to Nick Shymansky's wedding. And that shocked me, because Amy used to be so self-critical with her music, I had the feeling that she was already very far away from herself. They immediately flew to Istanbul afterward, Tyler was with her at the hotel and then the tour was canceled. The “team” (Naomi, Raye, etc.) made sure she was on stage, that was all!

I'm sure the band didn't confront her, they did their thing, the only one who showed sadness was Zalon.

I don't think ANYONE ever told her the truth, they were afraid of her. That's exactly where she needed a friend who would have canceled the concert.

The tour band left for Istanbul and she checked into the W Hotel where she was joined by Reg who flew in from London. The band and entourage were sent home in Amy’s private plane and Reg stayed in Istanbul with her for a couple of days. When she went back to London, she told her GP she couldn't remember anything about the concert so she ultimately discovered it through the amateur footage posted on Youtube.

I hope Raye Cosbert is banned from the music industry for life. The thought of him managing young women terrifies me.

Tyler said she seemed to have moved on from it, but I don't think she ever truly did. Her public reception mattered a lot to her. The news reports about her comeback, of her "blowing it" were devastating. I don't think even he knew for sure, Amy was usually good at boxing emotions. Personally I think the Belgrade disaster had a lot to do with her death, maybe she watched it on YouTube the last night she was alive, because I don't recollect her remembering any of it.

The fact he was her tour promoter and her manager was disturbing in itself. Those two just had a professional relationship, they weren't the friend others would like you to believe. That's bullshit. Her dad gets blamed for this a lot, but what about Raye pushing her over the edge? He was a promoter first and foremost and scum like that only care about pushing their circus ponies on stage making money.

Why does nobody ever hate the bastard that uploaded it to youtube? I'd love to know who that was and publicly shame them like they did to Amy. What a scummy thing they did, sharing someone collapsing around the world to shame them.

 

It's funny everybody went on about the first Joker movie being an Incel movie (which it wasn't in the slightest.) I personally wondered if it was a comment on what Amy and others went through. Arthur Fleck like Amy is put on stage when he is in a bad state mentally and his mental health issues cause him to bomb badly, and Murray plays it on tv to utterly humiliate him and make him a punchline. To me that's exactly like the bastard who uploaded the Belgrade concert. 

 

When the Joker shot Murray and said "you get what you fucking deserve" I couldn't help but cheer and think that's for Amy.

Thank you thank you for this. We should never forget what they did to Amy and definitely what contributed to her passing! I hate Raye! He never offered one single explanation!
