Doed anyone know if Prince's gig was somehow professionally recorded? Was this common on those days? I am eager to see a professional footage of this perfomance!
What I know so far about this show: Prince's company record used to be very strict regarding the use of mobile phones or cameras (2007) to the point people ran the risk of being ejected from the place. This was the first night of The Earth Tour: 21 Nights in London tour by the American singer.
However, this video was shared online (even before Amy's death as far as I remember) https://youtu.be/zy5...VNIt-HimZsQ0iCf
Meaning that there was a possibility ( minimal though) that people were able to record something. This being so, the quality's video is awful and I am looking for a decent and improved video.
Another info I gathered: Amy was wearing the same dress as she wore in Shepherds Bush and was at the center of the stage, while Prince stayed at one side to give her protagonism. Why there are no single pictures from that night?
On a side note, who was the person who recorded that video? Was it previously shared on Twitter maybe?
Thanks
PS. I know that the audio is already available on YouTube in High Quality but I am looking for the footage. I have no idea if it is in Prince's management company mind to release it as a tribute for both of them. Wishful thinking!

I doubt it was professionally recorded and as you say he didn't like folk filming but luckily Salaam secretly filmed it.

How do you know? When did he say that?
