Just had a giggle when I came across an article called “Mark Ronson Offers To Save Amy Winehouse’s Career”. Lol! How kind of him. I hope he’s into dark reggae! ---

That would be so great! I wonder what the deal will be with Salaam Remi though because most of my favourite songs by Amy (Some Unholy War, Tears Dry On Their Own, Me and Mr Jones, F Me Pumps) were produced by him. ---

^ I would like to see Salaam back, too, for the same reason. He’s been somewhat overlooked, imo, for his contribution to B2B. The production on the ‘original’ Some Unholy War is phenomenal. Talk about atmospheric… ---

^^ i’ve often wondered about that. has he been overlooked or it’s as he wants it. who knows. he’s a genius. listening to b2b while driving the prius today and boy, i couldn’t believe the instrumentation i was picking up on that i never paid attention to before. maybe it’s the advantage of a diff sound system or whatever. i played it over and over again. the song b2b is so lush, i thought nelson riddle would have been so impressed!! there can be no question that the album is pure artistry at it’s highest peak. and so damn deserving of those 5 grammys. shoulda got more!!! ---

A few weeks back i sent Salaam a message on twitter asking him if he was going to be working on Amy’s new album and he sent me a message back saying that he was. So fingers crossed! ---
