I’m starting this topic in hopes it becomes as much viral here as “Amy Pics Posting for Fun” in Anything Amy.
The last years it is difficult to find unseen Amy videos, and thank god, we post some of them here, and there are amazing sources for unseen videos. For example there is “Amy WInehouse Legacy” in Vk which posts all Amy content.
I’m starting this thread for all of us to post any UNSEEN or barely unseen Amy videos we find.
As Amy would like, the videos should NOT be paparazzi ones or bad performances where she’s out of herself and dysfunctional
If the administrator likes it, he can pin the topic in the top of the results of “Amy on VIdeo”
I would appreciate it a lot if you provide any good ways to find videos, as youtube videos are limited
To make the beggining, I’m posting here some unseen Amy videos from Rock City (Nottingham, 2007), which I recently found on youtube:
The problem is, in my opinion, that “unseen videos” are quite subjective.
Too often lately I have clicked on “unseen, rare or inedit videos” and been dissapointed. For the most part these are videos that were online when she was alive or just after her death, and then deleted or taken down, to reappear a few years later.
To newer fans, these feel like unseen videos, but the reality is that the further we get from her death, the more unlikely it is to fall on new previously unreleased footage.
One of the reasons I stopped coming here daily was when I felt that I had seen all the photos and videos…then I would just log on every few weeks or so to see if anything new was of interest (occasionnaly some stuff from people who worked with her)…
Ok, I agree with @HelloSailor, but I love surfing through YouTube and find some not much seen/forgotten videos, rare ones for new fans, so I’ll try to support this topic. Also thanks for appreciating my job at Amy Winehouse Legacy, my dream is to create in some time a decent and wide archive, but vk started to block my stuff even there, so I’m thinking about the new independent place where I could put it all together…
Always intriguing to hear her try phrasing, which becomes very apparent when contrasted against a different kind of singer like Weller who got his performance locked in. The difference is not as noticeable here as their other song, which was very varied in both phrasing and energy whereas this is more in energy/mood, which I don’t mean in a negative way
