TROUBLED pop wreck Amy Winehouse is spending up to £1,000 a day on heroin and crack cocaine, say worried pals. The shock claim shows just how serious the singer’s hopeless addiction has become and how she is dicing with death. Amy is so far gone on drugs that pals reckon it is only a matter of time before she falls seriously ill. The latest drug allegations come after the emergence of this picture, which was taken days before her 25th birthday earlier this month. The snaps show how Amy’s youthful looks have been ravaged. With sunken cheeks, a skeletal frame, blotches and grey skin, the Rehab star is looking worse than ever. And after being taken to hospital three times in the last year, friends reckon she is a walking timebomb. Amy has been holed up in her flat in Camden, London, since her birthday. She snubbed her own party because she realised how badly drug-taking had ruined her appearance. According to reports, Amy’s mum Janis, 53, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, ended up crying after the singer failed to show. Friends say Amy now spends hours in her flat trawling the web looking for photos of herself in happier times. But unless she gets some help quickly, they reckon she is on a one-way ticket to oblivion. One pal said: “It is so, so sad to see the state she’s got into. Those who see her on a daily basis are at a complete loss as to what to do. “She is lost and bewildered and all she lives off is fizzy drinks and sweets.” Amy’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, finishes his 27-month jail term for assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice on December 30. £1,000 a day? W.T.F. :-S Do they just make these numbers up randomly, or what? I mean, that’s a LOT of drugs for a little Amy! I’ve no doubt she’s using drugs, but that sounds a little over the top. ---

It does sound like bullshit but on the flipside it has made me think that if she is having problems about her image then we the fans and especially the media are not really helping, you’ve only got to look on any news item or you tube that allows comments and the majority are about the way she looks, we also have the Amy pic posting for fun, it’s all about image unfortunately and the most important thing should be the damage it’s doing and not just the way she looks. Also it’s the person inside that counts but the media are never going to consider that before reporting. ---

First of all, i don’t think we should bite that story about her not leaving home because she looks ugly. I think Phil said it before, that that didn’t stopped her from going out before, so i don’t think that’s the reason she doesn’t go out now. Anyway, if she feels horrible, it could be a good thing.. make her want to get better and stuff. But for some reason i just don’t think she cares about that.. she never has.. why now? I seriouslly don’t know what it would take for her to WANT to get better. She certainly don’t care about her health, i don’t think she cares about her looks, she don’t seem to care about her family or friends, fans, carrer.. she doesn’t give a shit about anything. I guess that’s why i sometimes think that maybe Blake can help her when he gets out, because he seems to be the only person she trully cares about and would do anything for.. including quitting drugs. But let him sort himself out first.. god.. we still have a looooot of time ahead till we see a happy/healthy Winehouse.. ---

All this is speculative, but the evidence is mounting. When she came out to do that “DJ” gig, she looked like she was doing loads of heroin, and she even had what looked like a crack pipe in one photo. This is what addicts do, though. Whenever they’re ashamed of their habit, they usually turn to hermits. There was a special with Elton John on the Beeb about a couple of months ago, he went thru the same thing, too. Personally, I also think that story with Blake is bullshit, too. I don’t know shit from shinola about their relationship, but I do know, Ms. Winehouse has totally fallen off the rails, since his sentencing. ---

I agree and what a sad sight it was her sat on the stairs trying to put more make-up on her face it does indeed make you wonder whether there is an element of truth. After all she is only 25 years old and has only left the house once in over a month. ---

in today’s Heat magazine they quoted tyler james (is that him?) as saying amy is on the mend and he looks out for her and she is getting better. he apparently also said something about blake being a great guy when sober but when he’s not it’s a different story. or summink similar. so dunno what i believe. ---

I’m keeping an objective stance about this, I’m sure many of us have jumped into the abyss, then realizing the abyss stinks and is rather boring. If Winehouse was so far gone, she wouldn’t have received the cool card that Jayne created, with all of our well-wishes. I think realizing how bad she looked, is the step to the right direction, as Brando stated. ---

I do wonder what she’s doing holed up in her house for so long though. That’s very unlike her. If she’s just resting and trying to get better and maybe even working in her home studio, great. I certainly hope the story isn’t true. Sends a shudder down my spine to read it though. I was glad to hear Clare mention that Tyler James was quoted as saying she’s doing better. But I just don’t know what to believe now. ---

arguing with fans on facebook over silly pictures…? i don’t know. But it does worry me too. I guess it’s better she stays home away from all the press and stuff and avoids feeding people like perez hilton with pictures on which he can put shit like ‘i need crack, i’m ugly’… fucking idiot.. buuut… i don’t know how much a person can stand being in the same place day after day without going ANYWHERE. Specially someone like Amy. Hopefully things are getting better. We always say that no news is great news with Amy. So i guess this is good ---

I too think that if she is concerned about her appearance, that is a good sign. Apathy would alarm me more. I wonder if she at least gets out to visit Blake. She is such an emotional creature that I think the blow his extended sentence dealt her was just too much for her little heart to bear. I only give a crap about her appearance as it related to the road to better health and happiness. for her. Beauty, after all, is only skin deep and Amy will always be beautiful to me. ---

I just wanted to put my two cents in, as a noob. Hope you all don’t mind. 🙂 I could be way off on this, but somehow I think that seeing those pictures of herself at the Monarch (I think that the name of the club where she DJ’d last week?) really may have shaken her. I mean, I don’t ever remember hearing her fret over her looks before. And those pictures were really worrisome. I was shocked at how frail and skinny she looked. I mean, she’s always been skinny but she looked like a rail she was so thin. Her cheek bones were poking out and her face just looked so hollow and sunken. For some reason, I keep going back and looking at the pictures again and again myself. I don’t know why, but I do. It’s like I can’t believe it’s her. I don’t know, I may be 100% off, but I just think that seeing those pictures might have hit a nerve. ---
