I was born in the 80s in Poland on the “wrong” side of the Iron Curtain. Thus I was practising various types of escapism, mostly through books. That was how I started “visiting” the world. Now I travel as much as I can, mostly on my own, taking not so many pix as I’m so critical to my work. I have had my golden expat days in Luxembourg, a tiny multicultural country, that I miss a lot. I don’t watch tv at all by choice but I love watching films in the cinema (my favourite one is “3 Iron” by Kim Ki-duk). The best books I’ve ever read are: “The Life of Pi” by Yann Martel, “The Autograph Man” and “White Teeth” by Zadie Smith, “The Other Hand” by Chris Cleave and “Long For This Life” by Sonya Chung. I love virgin nature and observing birds (blackbirds are my all-time favourites).
