Usually with music artists I don't particularly care if they're from the UK or London specifically but with Amy I actually feel really proud that she was a London girl. and I saw a funny interview just yesterday (I don't have enough posts to put the link yet) and she was asked about the difference between North and South London (where I am) an she literally hit the nail on head with the dynamics, and it was so cool, someone on the world stage being able to do that

Can't find it There is one called "Amy Winehouse - Before the Chaos - Interview at 20" but it's only 4 minutes long. Can you maybe try to send the link in a private message? No idea if that works though.

Vanessa, thanks for the link from LondonSweet. I LOVED her in these interviews. listened to part 1 and 2.
One has to wonder if that is part of the reason why she hadn't released her 3rd album yet. she mentions in that interview(I think part 2 towards the mid to end of it) that she always wants something different that has never been done before. again, I think she always had such high expectations of herself musically when it came to an album. Interesting feedback from her also on Frank and what she didn't like about it.
I had always wished she had done a big band cover...guess I got an answer on how she felt about that one. lol nice interview and again, thanks both for the post.
