when playing live, she does a cover of a song called 'Monkey Man' by a 60´s reggae group called Toots and the Maytals. Often in the encore, and it gets everyone moving and dancing. However 'Valerie' is a really good cover, her voice on it is fantastic.

i love all The Specials covers Monkey Man, Hey Little Rich Girl, You're Wondering Now She should do some Ska music on the next album her voice is perfect for it.

Yep . . . Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow is definetly a fav of mine to! I like Hey Little Rich Girl too . . . . . in fact i like them all really . . . cant think of one at the moment that i dont like!

It really is impressive to sing covers of quality songs and do a better job than the original artists like the Teddy Bears, Shirelles, Zutons and possibly even Donny Hathaway and Etta James. I've been listening to the youtube of Amy's teach me tonight a lot lately so yesterday I played Dinah Washington's ("Queen of the blues" as she was known) original for the first time for ages and even here I think that Amy has the edge! So I'd have to go with this.

I love valerie is amazing i love the song... i heared it fisrt time by the zutons (duh!) then when amy did the cover i like it even more round midnight is TOTALLY ME that song describes me.. so i must like it lol then the covers os the specials song i love em cuz i love the specials(L) and "cupid" cover i REALLY loved it becouse of that ska.. dub groovie that the song has... the only one i guess i dont like a lot is "will you still love me tomorrow" bucouse i like more the original... i like the accent of the shirelles... its happier than amys cover... dunno...
