The self-harming on the arm is worrisome though. I noticed those scratches the other day. If I were someone close to her, like a friend or family member, I couldn't just let that go unanswered.

I'm just going to keep on loving her. Don't know what else to do.

but if someone did ask about her arm, the chances are she wouldnt tell them the truth, or would just kind of shrug it off . . . its easier to lie than to explain the truth in circumstances like that ....

yep im the same, theres nothing more we can do than keep loving her!

So I saw the video before I looked at any of the pictures or checked it out here...I honestly found it quite amusing. I thought it was totally hilarious that Amy Fucking Winehouse is walking down the freeway, asking random ass people to bum a lighter! Could you image being those two guys she asked for the lighter? I would have shit my pants literally. And the traffic was totally stopped...I think its completely normal what she did, she met other people doing it too and was totally nice to them, signing autographs and stuff.

But then I started reading this and looked at the pictures. Everything that was said is definitely right. But I think we might be over-reacting a tad. Yes, her arm injuries are cause for concern for sure. But the fact she was walking around the side of the road in a really bad traffic jam is not. It's just Amy being Amy, I'd say.

It looked like there were plenty of other people on the side of the road as well.

Yeah, it's funny how the video and the still photos tell different stories. I wonder if she just can't stand being alone and that's when she self harms. So she has to be around other people like here or even at 4 AM; the problem nowadays is that even if she wants to socialise with strangers there will always be paps around spoiling the experience

People always get out of cars during traffic jams! I see it every time when we go on our family vacation in summer, I do it too... So they made a story out of nothing. Like the one of her "roaming the streets" at 4 A.M - she didn't "roam", she went out to buy some stuff.

We should be used to this by now.

It has happened before, as well.

But, it seems to always grab us, just in case it is reflective of what's actually happening. So, it's our own fault for getting sucked in, time and again.

From OK Magazine:

TROUBLED Amy Winehouse got stuck in yet another jam yesterday...but this time, thankfully, it was only traffic.

But she kept other drivers amused when she leapt out of her car to go begging for cigarettes from other drivers after getting stuck on the M40 on her way to visit her jailed husband.

The singer also revealed angry red scratches on her arm, sparking speculation that she is self-harming again.

An insider said: “She’s had a difficult few weeks and fears are growing that this could be her way of coping.”

The frustrated pop star turned on a shocked fan as she missed visiting time. An onlooker said: “She totally lost it when a girl went up to her car to ask for an autograph.

“But she appeared to have a change of heart and ended up chasing after her to apologise.”

Skimpily-dressed Amy, quizzed by police this week over a video of her allegedly smoking crack, was stuck in the jam near Uxbridge, Middlesex, for around two hours.

A spokesman for Amy, 24, refused to comment on the scars but said she was driving to London to see Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, in Pentonville jail when she got stuck.

He said she “got out of the car to see what was going on”.

And he added: “She was anxious about how to get to him on time but ended up missing the appointment.

“A few people approached while she was on the phone checking the last visiting times, but she just asked them to wait.”
