A waxwork model of singer Amy Winehouse has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds in London by her parents.
Back to wax: Amy is a dummy
The likeness of the 24-year-old performer took four and a half months to complete, with the final touches added only on Monday afternoon.
Special attention was given to her distinctive hair and tattoos.
Ten weeks was spent on her trademark beehive hairstyle- more than double the amount of time normally required.
Amy was unable to pose for the waxwork in person and the resulting sculpture had to be based on existing photographs and concert images.
The multi-Grammy award-winning performer is one of 375 celebrities on display at the London tourist attraction, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Elvis and Madonna.
In an interview with OK! magazine the singer announced she wants to have five children with husband Blake Fielder-Civil once he is released from the 27-month jail sentence he received on Monday.

Oh that's actually really good, better than I expected.
Mitch and Janis next to the waxwork.

"'We’re going to take this one home with us and send the real one back." lol
Video of Mitch looking at it, he seems to be impressed:

"She's not that skinny anymore though."

And I go back to... I go back to us.
Bruised, battered and desparate for a fag she may be, but Amy is our 21st Century Piaf: flawed yet fabulous, tormented yet towering. Think of her this way and hope that the still remarkably young woman under the eyeliner thinks that way too. - Jude Rogers, The Word

Does anyone else feel like her red heart-shaped bag should have been there too? It feel like something's missing.

That was my exact first impression. That yellow is too intense without the bag. Wish they had used the dress she sang in that night, or had her not singing and with the bag. Maybe when she goes there she'll tell them to put a big red belt on it.Does anyone else feel like her red heart-shaped bag should have been there too? It feel like something's missing.
